Testing the 50 lb survival bow and take down arrows

We have been testing the 50 lb limbs and the take down arrows for over a month. The bow limbs in this survival bow have been fired about 500 times, and the take down arrows we used in shooting the video have been fired over 300 times each. The bow still performs great and the arrows still fly straight. We will have the take down arrows and the 50 lb limb option available sometime mid to late December of 2112 or January 2013. Keep a watchful eye out for them at www.goprimalnow.com.

Here are just some of the photos that have been posted on www.goprimalnow.blogspot.com and www.goprimalnow.com
and these photos are far better than the video we currently have posted.
We have been shooting more video footage while testing the 45 and 50 lb limbs we have been working on. In all of the footage we are using our new take down arrows. We have fired the take down arrows over 100 times each, and there have been no signs of strain or wear where the two halves connect. The take down arrows and the limbs will be available sometime toward the end of December 2012, or January of 2013.
Keep looking for information on the new limbs and arrows, and we will update you as soon as we are ready to release them.

The compact folding survival bow in it's closed position is only 23 inches long. It has a total weight of 2.5 pounds.
We kept the bow as easy to operate and a minimalist as possible sticking with the survival bow idea so it would be tough and highly unlikely to fail. The riser is made from T6 6061 aircraft grade aluminum, and the limbs from unidirectional E-glass. The limbs are 20 inches long, with only 18 inches exposed when open, and they fold into the riser for protection when closed.
Once the limbs are moved to the open position past the flat part of the limb locking bolt, you just turn the limb locking bolt to the closed position (which is any part of the bolt over the limb when it is tightened) and you are ready to string up your long bow.
You just repeat the steps for each limb. Although it will shoot just like any traditional bow, it is anything but traditional. Most traditional archers have been a little standoffish until they have had a chance to shoot it, then all I have heard is that they were impressed with the way it performed. One said it was the pocket fisherman, but for bows, except for the fact thie bow is really functional and accurate.
The long bow is 59 inches before it is strung, and 55-56 inches long once the string is on. It is fairly quiet when shot, but it really whispers with string silencers installed.

With a 60 pound draw weigh at 28 inches and a 6.5 inch brace height, the folding bow is very comfortable to shoot. Primal Gear Unlimited is working on a slip on grip for the bow, but wants to finish with the lower 45 and 50 pound draw weight limbs and take down arrows before they can devote the required time to finish the grip project.

It is a survival bow that will definitely help you survive in any survival situation. With arrow speeds of 170 to 180 feet per second and a little practice, you can become deadly accurate with this bow.
All of the feedback from Primal Gear Unlimited's clients on Ebay and on www.goprimalnow.com has been excellent. There has been only 5 star ratings and prompt for others to purchase the bow.

Primal Gear Unlimited truly wants their clients to be happy with their purchase, and with the positive feedback they have been getting, they must be doing a great job. Everyone seems to love the products performance, simplicity, and compact foldable bow design.

Great News, Primal Gear Unlimited has finally found a photographer to take some better pictures than the ones on www.goprimalnow.com. We will be getting the photos taken Thursday November the 9th. We will get them back a few days after that, and will post them to the blog and our site.
The compact folding survival bow is new to the market, and no one has seen a bow like it. Many people like the concept of the folding bow, but have requested better photos. For now, I am referring anyone to the videos posted on this blog and on goprimalnow.com.
Traditional archers have been stand offish about the bow until they get a chance to shoot it, then they love it. All of the traditional archers who have shot it love the performance, and say that it compares to many of the high end long bows and recurve bows they own, but at a significant fraction of the price.
Many of the initial purchasers of the bow are survivalists who are looking for an edge to add to their survival gear. The prepper community seems to be embracing it as well, and the preppers who have purchased it say it is one of the best pieces of prepper gear in their bug out bag.
Visit the Primal Gear Unlimited Compact Folding Survival Bow page http://www.facebook.com/PrimalGearUnlimited
and like us on facebook. Take a look at the pictures we have posted there. A few of them are of the Compact Folding Survival Bow before it was anodized, so you can see it in the shiny T6 6061 aircraft aluminum it is made of.

No it isn't the Avengers folding bow. But it is traditional bow that folds, oh yeah, and it works great.

It opens out and collapses into the riser creating it's own tough shell of 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum. When closed it is 23 inches by 1.5 inches by 1.5 inches, and weighs in at 2.5 pounds. This patent pending folding long bow, when strung delivers performance with its 60 pound draw weight at 28 inches with a 6.5 inch brace height. Speeding arrows at the intended target at 170 to 180 feet per second. See the video below.
All of our customers that have purchased the bow have nothing but good things to say about it. Check out the reviews at: http://www.goprimalnow.com/Compact_Folding_Survival_Bow_Takedown_Bow_Model_1_p/cfsb-1.htm

This bow is the perfect bow to take hiking or camping  and you want that added security in a neat compact package. Any survivalist will love having the compact folding survival bow in their back pack with all of the advantages it has in its compact size and light weight. It can be opened strung and firing arrows in under a minute. Whether you are looking to put food on the table or protect yourself and your party, this tough powerful bow delivers. It is a must if you are a prepper, after all, if you run out of bullets, your out, but you can always make arrows. It will fit easily into a bug out bag, and it is compact enough that storage is a non issue when precious space is a valuable commodity. Even if you choose not to use it as your primary weapon when out hunting (although you very well can), it makes a great back up bow. Why lose a day of hunting if something goes wrong with you gun or compound bow? If your hunting weapon of choice is a traditional or recurve bow, you will find yourself replacing it with this one once you have shot it. You can throw it behind the pickup truck seat, and it will be there when you need it.
The gentleman in this next video is a long time traditional archer. He was skeptical of the idea of a folding bow when he first heard about it, but once he shot it, he was very happy with its performance.
Check out the video (I was still developing my shooting skills so don't laugh) on our home page HERE
The bow is available at WWW.GOPRIMALNOW.COM . We hope you enjoy the videos, and your new bow when you purchase your new Compact Folding Survival Bow. Go Primal!!
